2023 NFL Wild Card Weekend Best Bets
Browns at Texans
I’m taking the Browns to win this game and cover. I think the experience that Flacco has along with one of the best defenses in the league will be too much for CJ Stroud and the Texans to overcome. I really think Flacco and the Browns will be able to get their offense going and cause some problems for the Texans offense.
If the Browns do get a lead and can unleash that pass rush headlined by DPOY-contender Myles Garrett, I love their chances. The Browns and Joe Flacco pulling this off and heading back into Baltimore for the Divisional Round would be awesome to see.

Rams at Lions
I love this matchup. The Rams have looked like one of the most dangerous teams in the league the past month. They went shot for shot against the Ravens and nearly pulled off that upset. The Rams are putting the pieces together and are starting to look like they did during the 2021 title run. Stafford connection with those receivers is special.
On the other side of the field, the Detroit Lions are hosting their first playoff game in 30 years. I believe there is a reason that Goff was traded. I think Sean McVay knows all of Goff's weaknesses, and the Rams will find a way to pull this one out and upset the Lions in Detroit.

Packers at Cowboys
The Cowboys have finished the season strong to get the second seed and host this playoff game. Everything seems to be lining up for them. Dak is in the MVP conversation and CeeDee Lamb looks like the best receiver in football. Micah Parsons and his incredible DPOY season headline the other side of the ball. Add to that is Daron Bland and his 5-pick sixes this season.
The Packers have squeaked by to get here and are a very young and experienced team. They should be happy to get this development from Jordan Love this season and figure out that he will be their future QB. The Packers lose this high-scoring game to a Cowboys team that’s just more talented and experienced.

Eagles at Bucs
The Eagles have looked awful the past month, backing into the playoffs after starting the season 10-1. Everything looks broken on both sides of the ball for the Eagles. They keep losing games to average and bad teams. The communication looks off, they don’t look healthy. I don’t like anything I’ve seen from this team in 2 months.
The Bucs have looked better the last month and I believe they win this game. Baker has looked a lot better in this environment that Dave Canales has provided. He has revived his career and the Bucs playoff chances. I like the Bucs at home getting the points in this one.
