NFL Tuesday Takeaways & Picks update
Officiating in this league is bad, I hate watching games knowing there is going to be so many good plays overturned and so many flags. We do not tune in to watch refs.
Zeke Elliot is back to looking like his younger self and one of the best running backs in the league. Trevon Diggs continues to impress and is looking like one of the steals of the 2020 draft and a legit shut down corner with is league leading 5 INTs.
Both NY teams pulling out upsets this weekend was surprising, what is going on in New Orleans with Jameis!
Goodell spotted at Dolphins-Colts, after watching Dolphins inept offense, I can only imagine they were discussing the parameters of an inevitable Deshaun Watson trade.
An angry Chiefs team went into Philadelphia and roasted the Eagles. Mahomes threw 5 TD’s in a various fashion (underhand scoops and 50 yard bombs to Hill).
The Bucs-Pats game was good to watch, but it was super sloppy and Brady and the Bucs were lucky to escape with a win. Belichick deciding to kick a 56-yard FG in the pouring rain was a bold choice that backfired and cost them the win.
Cleveland’s defense and run game has bailed Baker out the past couple games as he has not been good. He seems to struggle with figuring out how to use Odell Beckham Jr.
That Cardinals team is a legit contender, while the offense gets most of the praise due to highlight worthy plays by Kyler and company, I was actually more impressed with the defense. They confused the Rams and Stafford. They have athletes flying all over the place, Watt, Jones, Budda Baker, Isiah Simmons and rookie Zaven Collins. They are FAST!
What is going on in Jacksonville?? Urban Meyer seen at an Ohio bar this past weekend acting like let’s just say a young bachelor, despite being a married man. Not a good look Urban, doesn’t look like he will be coaching for very long in the NFL.
