NFL Tuesday Takeaways & Picks update

The Bills had a statement win going to Kansas City and absolutely demolishing the Chiefs. They are a complete team and the team to beat in the AFC.

Speaking of statements, Lamar Jackson can sling the rock. His development as a passer has made him even more difficult to defend. Career-high 442 yards passing in yet another OT win was very impressive.

Somehow Trevon Diggs continues to get INTs every game. I don’t know why QB’s are still throwing at him. He has a league leading 6 interceptions, which is more than 27 teams!

Brandon Staley aggressiveness in going for it constantly on 4th down is something I love to see. He’s terrifying defenses and Herbert is just as scary. You don’t want to face them, because you know how difficult it is to stop them. 7 of 8 4th downs converted is insane.

Tom Brady is a freaking alien. Leading the league in passing and somehow continues to check off a new achievement every week. 400 yards and 5 TDs passing Sunday against the Dolphins. His success is absurd.

Seattle is in trouble in the NFC West. Losing Russell Wilson for at least 5 games is going to be too much to overcome in the toughest division in the league. Arizona 5-0 and Rams 4-1, continue to build on their division lead, Russ and Seattle are missing the playoffs this year.

That Packers-Bengals game had one of the wildest endings I’ve ever seen. 5 missed FG attempts in the 4th quarter and OT. I don’t know how the Packers and LaFleur trusted Mason Crosby to win the game for him. He came through, but so many missed kicks has to make one think, going for it on 4th down with Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams should be considered.

The Raiders coaching situation should be very interesting to watch as Jon Gruden promptly resigned in lieu of the remarks he made in leaked emails uncovered by the New York Times. I won’t discuss them here, you can search them if you’d like, I can tell you they’re not a good look for an NFL Head Coach.
