2023 NFL Week 1 Best Bets
Niners at Steelers
This is one of my favorite underdogs of the weekend. The Steelers are home underdogs and I absolutely love this spot for them. The Niners usually start out slow and Tomlin’s teams thrive in underdogs spots.
I love what I’ve seen from Kenny Pickett in the preseason, so I’m backing the Steelers ML today.

Bengals at Browns
The Browns being able to start this season against a wounded Joe Burrow is a huge benefit to them. I don’t like that Burrow’s had to miss a lot of practice time and preseason due to the injury.
I feel like most people overlook the Browns because of the Watson situation, they still have a good running game and good defense, so I’ll back the underdog Browns at home.

Titans at Saints
The Saints seem like they’re overvalued in this spot. I am not a fan of their head coach Dennis Allen. I watched that team blow too many leads last season to believe in this team and the Derek Carr renaissance.
The Titans play hard-nosed football and are much more disciplined than this Saints team, so I’m taking the Titans to pull the upset on the road.

Dolphins at Chargers
My last and final pick of the weekend is the Dolphins over the Chargers. I have no idea why the Chargers are favored. The Dolphins are much better coached and have just as talented a roster.
I don’t believe in Brandon Staley or Kellen Moore. I think Justin Herbert is in trouble as long as those two are his coaches. Vic Fangio addition for the Dolphins will cause problems for the Chargers and Kellen Moore.
Give me the Dolphins on the road to pul this upset.
