Cardinals at Vikings

This was a tough game for me to pick a side on. I don’t believe in Kliff Kingsbury or the Cardinals at all and the spread was around 3.5 to 4 points at most sportsbooks. However, they have had some extra time to prepare for this game coming off TNF. I don’t know if the bye week will help the Vikings out as much as other teams because they seemed to be a timing based offense and they were rolling on offense.

I leaned toward betting Vikings, but I just couldn’t find a good number I liked it at, the return of Hopkins should ensure the Cardinals can score plenty of points. I like the Vikings to score plenty of points against the Cardinals defense as well.

Giants at Seahawks

I will keep betting against this Giants team until I am flat broke! Sometimes I think I don’t understand this team and then I realize I must understand this team because I recognize a PHONY squad when I see one. They do not make mistakes, Daniel Jones scrambles on 3rd and long constantly. He doesn’t fumble anymore, but this game isn’t going to be about Daniel Jones.

This game is about Geno FREAKIN Smith playing like a top-5 QB in the NFL. Now this is something I don’t understand at all. We have seen plenty of backup QBs play well and go on streaks, this is something entirely different. Geno was on the bench for years and now when he gets his change again he looks like a completely different QB? Mind blowing shit, but some of these throws he makes will make you a believer. Geno is aggressive and attacking seams and dropping passes in buckets regularly. Somehow the Seahawks have upgraded at QB after trading Russell WIlson to the Broncos! Give me the Seahawks ML due to Geno and the home field advantage Seattle has.

Packers at Bills

This game hurt me inside to bet. I don’t ever like having to root for Aaron Rodgers, but this line is insanely disrespectful. This is the biggest underdog spread of Rodgers career. It is just too many points. I firmly believe the Bills will win this game off a bye in front of “Bills Mafia”.

Aaron Rodgers is the pettiest football player ever, he will ensure the Packers cover this spread and only lose by a TD today. Josh Allen and the Bills are a machine and will probably get up early but Rodgers and company will cover even if it means a late garbage time TD.

Titans at Texans

My upset pick of the day! The Titans are starting rookie QB Malik Willis instead of Ryan Tannehill today. Malik Willis is a very talented prospect but in his first game I imagine Lovie Smith and the Texans to try and confuse him and make him realize how different the NFL game is than college.

The Texans are also coming off of a tough loss to the Raiders, which was actually closer than the final score indicated. This is a divisional game and the Texans always play the Titans tough. Dameon Pierce continues his strong rookie of the year campaign and Davis Mills makes just enough plays to get this one at home. Maybe Brandin Cooks has a big game so the Texans can elevate his trade stock, either way, give me the Texans today.
